Marian Protocol v1.0 — author-ratified open technical reference

Official normative repository: https://github.com/iamJBcom/marian . No separate Zenodo DOI has yet been assigned to the normative protocol; existing research DOI records are cited below.

The authoritative open protocol repository is iamJBcom/marian. Earlier research records are already publicly archived on Zenodo: Marian research preprint (2026) and computational data and reproducibility package (2026). Neither record should be cited as the publication of the distinct official Marian Protocol v1.0.

The normative technical repository provides the protocol, citation information and independently testable conformance package. A separate archival DOI for the normative protocol will be linked if and when assigned.

The printed appendices contain just the material needed to understand the Marian architecture, its mathematical basis, canonical implementations, intercalation method, communications heuristic and relationship to earlier calendar designs. This book is NOT the full or primary latest technical version of the Marian calendar, and should be considered as a printed primer only.
